My photo featured on Portal Wisconsin Arts Site
Thanks to Tammy at Portal Wisconsin for featuring another one of my black and white photos on www.portalwisconsin.org. The arts web site highlights my image of decorative door knobs on the Gates of Heaven Synagogue, a historic landmark in Madison. It’ll only be on the home page for a short while and then gone.

Shooting Photographs with a Holga is Like Painting...
You have to be willing to give up some control, and hope for happy accidents. This was my first roll of film using the small Holga 35mm plastic camera and I had no idea what I was doing.
I know I’m coming in on the tail end of a toy camera trend, but I hope experimentation will help me hone my digital photography skills, as well as teach me a little toy camera zen. Wish me luck!

CALL FOR ENTRIES Photography Midwest: A Seven State Juried Photography Exhibit DEADLINE FOR ENTRY: MAY 15, 2010 This is the 4th biennial juried competition held in conjunction with PhotoMidwest. The competition is open to photographers residing in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri and Iowa. Cost of entry: $25 for three images, $35 for four, and $45 for 5.
